Yandera Copper Project Update

Era Resources released an updated NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate in December 2016, following a 43-hole diamond drill campaign. This latest resource is significantly strengthened compared to the 2015 estimate, with a substantial increase in size. It also encompasses an expansion of the footprint, establishment of linkages between previously separate pits and the potential to further optimize pit designs and reduce stripping ratios.

From 2014, Era had previously compiled project data to go into an updated estimation of the resource. From the release of a resource estimation in 2012, Era Resources had drilled 96 holes totaling 24,560 metres between 2012 and 2014. Drilling in 2012 focused on upgrading resource in the Gremi, Imbruminda and Omora areas, geotechnical drilling, as well as some exploration holes in the Dirigi area. Drilling in 2013 focused on testing in the Dimbi area and drilling in 2014 tested mineralization in the Rima area.

On May 1, 2015, SRK and Era completed a new resource estimate for the Yandera copper project. In addition to drilling used to calculate a resource in 2012, this resource estimate included the drilling completed in 2012–2014. The 2015 resource update also utilized a more detailed geologic model that resulted from reworking of existing lithology, alteration and structural data from drilling and surface work. The 2015 resource calculation resulted in significant growth of the indicated resources.
